Eric Quilleré

Eric Quilleré, membre de l'équipe pédagogique de l'Académie et directeur de l'Opéra national de Bordeaux

After training at the Paris Opera Ballet School, he was promoted to Premier Danseur at the Opéra National de Paris and then Danseur Etoile at the Ballet de Nancy. Continuing his career as a dancer with the Miami City Ballet, where he danced most of Balanchine's ballets, he began to remount ballets there. He has also worked alongside Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Patrick Dupont and Charles Jude. He teaches and organises several summer courses for the MBC School in Miami, Israel Ballet and Florence Ballet. In 2003, he joined the Ballet National de Bordeaux as Ballet Master, before being appointed, on Marc Minkowski's proposal, Director of Dance at the Opéra National de Bordeaux in 2017.
