Led by the CCN Malandain Ballet Biarritz and supported by the city of Biarritz, the Biarritz International Dance Academy welcomes 350 trainees from all walks of life each year for a week at the beginning of August. To register, students must fill in the online registration form on HelloAsso and pay online by providing all the required documents. There are no classes for beginners; a minimum of two years' dance experience is required. From age 10 upwards. Classical classes, pointe classes, Adage, Barre à terre, Boys' classes, Repertoire classes, Workshops and Adult classes.
In 30 years of existence, the International Dance Academy of Biarritz remains a sure value in the transmission of academic dance in France. It provides access to quality classical dance teaching, where the main trends are represented: the French school with the Paris National Opera, the Russian school with the Bolshoi, the Kirov and the Vaganova Academy, the Cuban school… Its singularity is also the diversity of the repertoire workshops offered: Jiri Kylian, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Johan Inger, Nacho Duato, William Forsythe, Thierry Malandain…

Reception, dance shops, catering, boarding and certain courses are located at the Lycée hôtelier Atlantique 2 Rue Francis Jammes, 64200 Biarritz. Some courses take place right next to the high school in the rooms of the “FAL” sports complex. You can benefit from accommodation at the internship location.
A public demonstration by the trainees will take place on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 8:45 p.m. at the Gare du Midi theater in Biarritz. Free admission with open reservation at malandainballet.com.
